Renovation of a medical facility in Dallas, Texas. Working plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
**As of January 25, 2024, no bids received. No definite date for the rebid.** The goal of this project is to add a second hybrid operating room to increase capacity for highly specialized surgical procedures. This project is in a highly sensitive area of the hospital, the surgical suite located on the third floor of Parkland's main hospital. Great care must be given to the construction activities since surgical procedures will be performed adjacent to the construction site while construction is ongoing. Contractor must adhere to all PCRA (Pre-construction risk assessment) and ICRA (infection control risk assessment). Existing shell space is unfinished. The shell space does not have a structural floor and there is a~6" drop-off when you enter the shell space. The shell space is finished with gypsum wall board and does not have a finished ceiling. See attached photo and plan. The major medical equipment for the suite will be Phillips Azurion and is on order with the vendor The surgical boom will be procured and installed by Steris and is on order. The contractor will have to work closely with Parkland's equipment vendors to ensure a smooth installation of all medical equipment. Base bid - Working hours M-F 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. - 1 day shift Bid Add alternate #1 - (2) shifts - M-F 7:00 am to 3:30 pm AND M-F night shift 3:30 pm - 12:00 am. QUESTIONS may be submitted in writing until Friday, December 8, 2023 at 10:00 AM CT electronically The M/WBE goal for this procurement is 30%. Bid Bond Required - Yes Bid Bond Percent - 10
