Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Polk, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.

The project generally includes earth work and site preparation related to the development of the Polk Township Community Park. Work will include removing and stockpiling topsoil for site grading and parking lot installation, the installation of a storm inlet box and storm pipe, the installation of a gravel parking lot and two ADA parking spaces, and site grading for a pavilion, playground, and future multipurpose sports court. The Township has stockpiled road ditch spoils onsite that will need to be moved into a pile. The Township has a borrow pit that may be utilized for fill material but is not required. Access to the borrow pit is by off road access only. The Contractor will also be responsible for removing several trees, capping an existing abandoned gas line, and removal of former water hydrant and spring house. Prior to the award of the contract, the successful bidder shall furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond to the Owner, in the form contained in the Contract Documents and executed by a satisfactory circular 570 listed surety, each equal to100% of the total contract amount. The Owner reserves the right to rejectany or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids.Owner also reserves the right to waive all minor informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect
