A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Sealed bids will be received by the Macon-Bibb County Procurement Department, Government Center, 700 Poplar Street, 3rd Floor, Suite 308, Macon, Georgia 31201 for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing all work necessary for the: RUNWAY 10-28 RECONSTRUCTION / LINE OF SIGHT CORRECTION at MACON DOWNTOWN AIRPORT. Major items of work include: Pavement Removal, Excavation, Base/Pave, Marking, Grooving, Drainage, Electrical and related appurtenances. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Macon-Bibb County Procurement Department, Suite 308, Government Center, 700 Poplar Street, Macon, Georgia 31201. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total amount of the bid. The bid guaranty shall be a bid bond made payable to the MACON-BIBB COUNTY CONSOLIDATED GOVERNMENT. Bids may be held by the MACON-BIBB COUNTY CONSOLIDATED GOVERNMENT for a period not to exceed one hundred twenty (120) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract.
