The City of Athens is seeking quotations for a qualified contractor to supply all materials and labor to install two (2) security gates at 1919 Airport Rd, Athens TX 75752. The first gate will need to be 20 ft and will need to be installed on Airport Road. The second gate will need to be 14 ft and will need to be installed at the main entrance that leads into the airport runways directly in front of the fuel center. Provide competitive pricing for the installation of two security gates located at 1919 Airport Rd, Athens TX 75752. o Provide two (2) security gates.
o Must supply brace frames for the gates installation.
o Must supply both motors for the security gates.
o Needs to have a wireless button keypad for entry.
o Must run buried electrical service to gates.
o Must be able to wire up the unit for power source.
o Contractor will be required to complete a site visit/inspection before submitting a quote.
o Contractors will be required to work around airport traffic. By submitting a response to the Solicitation or accepting a PO, the Vendor agrees that these terms and conditions shall govern unless specifically provided otherwise on the face of the purchase order or in a separate agreement.
The Vendor shall comply with all National, State and Local standards, codes and ordinances and the terms and conditions of the services of the electric utility, as well as other authorities that have jurisdiction pertaining to equipment and materials used and their application. None of the terms or provisions of the specification shall be construed as waiving any rules, regulations or requirements of these authorities. The Vendor shall be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, certificates and/or licenses to fulfill contractual obligations (City of ATHENS fees and costs may be waived). The City reserves the right to cancel the agreement for default of all or any part of the undelivered portion of the order if Vendor breaches any of the terms hereof including warranties or becomes insolvent or commits acts of bankruptcy. Such right of cancellation is in addition to and not in lieu of any remedies, which the City may have in law or equity.
