Site work and paving for a road / highway in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of Aug 21, 2023 the project was awarded to John G Walton Construction Company for $399,157.07. Work will include the resurfacing of the existing Alleyway at East 15th Avenue and the extension of the Alleyway from its current ending location to East Fort Morgan Road. Erosion control and temporary traffic control will be included with this project. Qualified contractors are invited to Bid. This contract is for the purpose of providing all materials and labor to complete the project in conformance with the Specifications. Minority and women's business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contract and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material and/or supply needs. All bidders must make positive efforts to use small and minority owned business and women business enterprises. The Contractor will be required to obtain a business license from the City to operate within the Corporate Limits.
