The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office is responsible for managing and maintaining a county-wide network of emergency radio communications. The Department of Public Infrastructure manages the County's real estate and maintains its infrastructure. There are twenty-one (21) radio tower sites throughout the County of Sonoma with tower heights ranging between 40 and 185 feet. The Sonoma Mountain Communications Site is a critical hub in the County's overall emergency communications network. The existing 185' structure is a three-level guyed tower manufactured by Rohn Products, LLC of Peoria, Illinois. The approximate age of the tower is 50 years old. The Sonoma Mountain Tower site is located at: 2482 SONOMA MTN. ROAD PETALUMA, CA 94954 Contractor, working at the direction of county or delegated independent representative, shall repair, recoat or otherwise remove & replace components of the existing tower, as identified in their assessment inspection including, without limitation, guy wires, turnbuckles, guy anchors, guy-wire attachment hardware, cross brace structural members, non-structural bridging members, antenna support hardware, climbing foot-pegs, climbing cables, and all associated accessories necessary to complete the scheduled work. PREVAILING WAGE: This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations.
