Upgrades, repairs and improvement to three City sports and recreation facilities including the Arena - Guy-Frigon Centre - Recreational Aquatic Centre. The scope of the project includes major interior and exterior renovations of the buildings, upgrades of electrical, mechanical equipment, plumbing networks renovation, foundation and envelope repairs, partial demolition work. More specifically: - Arena: construction of a multi-purpose room with storage space, redevelopment and expansion of changing rooms and façade repairs; - Guy-Frigon Centre: partial interior demolition for construction of inclusive washrooms (M/F), two locker rooms, a dinette and a room for the supervisor, reconstruction of the façade, installation of new windows as well as an automated sliding door system; - Recreational Aquatic Center: development of a new glazed and adapted multipurpose room. TIMELINE: The owner has awarded an architectural professional consultant to complete the design and construction work monitoring of the construction program following Request for proposals 7210-2023-022 P and expects to issue separate tenders for general contractors for the program projects.
