Renovation of a municipal facility in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The contract will be considered for award by the Board of Supervisors during a regularly scheduled Board meeting. The project scope of work includes, but is not limited to, installation of 5/8 thick high impact gypsum wall board on the interior side of all exterior partitions and both sides of interior partitions of the lodge building, installation of doors, door and window trim, installation of foam insulation, painting all surfaces, selected patching and repairing of existing floor, construction of new rear entrance ramp, and installation of new ceiling on the underside of the first-floor joists. Work also includes new plumbing, HVAC system, and electrical work as shown on the drawings. These are general descriptions of the work and these descriptions do not necessarily include all of the items shown on the drawings. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of ten percent 10% of the Base Bid. The successful, responsible low bidder will be required to provide a 100% performance bond or certified check, both within ten (10) days after the contract is awarded. Proposals shall be submitted on the forms furnished by the municipality. The municipality reserves the right to waive any non material defects or irregularities in the bid, and to reject and or all bids or options thereof. This contract will be subject to PA Prevailing Wage Rate Requirements. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $500.00 per day.
