The Owner provides equal opportunity for all Canadian Contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, and manufacturers to bid the work. The Owner reserves the right to reject all or any part of any bid and/or to waive technical defects in the bid, if in its judgment the interest of the Owner may so require. Where the Contract is proposed in separate sections, or with alternates, the Owner reserves the right to award any section separately or to choose any alternate which is in its best interests. Bids shall be valid for a period of 60 calendar days following close of the Bidding. Bid submissions shall be prima facie evidence of the Bidder's preparedness and ability to commence the Work at the Site within thirty (30) calendar days following notice of award. Work at the Site shall commence regardless of the soil or weather conditions encountered, and shall continue without interruption, except as agreed upon by the Consultant and the Owner. Bid bonds are not required for this project. The work shall begin on July 17, 2023.
