Provide professional services as required to implement capital improvement projects for the University of Texas System. Services required shall be compliant with industrystandard laboratory and testing efforts. The engagement will require the generation of deliverables that document recommendations for building envelope designs in conjunction with design reviews of construction documents, constructability reviews and conditions encountered during the construction of University of Texas System capital improvement projects. In most cases, design review comments will be in the format designated by the OCP Owner's Designated Representative (ODR) for each project. Construction field reports shall be generated for each site visit, documenting work observed. Provide copies of reports to the OCP ODR as well as the Contractor for the project. The field personnel shall not direct the Contractor in any manner as to means and methods of work and shall immediately report all items of non-compliance to the OCP ODR in writing prior to leaving the site. All decisions and authority for work in place shall come from the OCP ODR and NOT from field personnel. Issues of non-compliance will be addressed by OCP A pre-submittal conference will not be held.
