This solicitation, WSLP-105, is being issued as Invitation for (IFB) and resulting in the of a firm fixed price (FFP) contract. This is an unrestristed procurement. The applicable NAICS code is 237990. The work consists of clearing and grubbing, soil preloading and wick drain installation, construction of a levee section which includes placing sand fill, high strength geotextile, and compacted clay embankment, construction of a temporary retaining structure and dewatering system, construction of a drainage structure with slide gates, driving steel sheet piling cutoff, driving steel H-piles, driving precast/prestressed concrete piles, constructing reinforced concrete T-type floodwall, construction of a precast access bridge, constructing surfaced access roads and ramps along portions of the levee section, excavating drainage canals on the flood side and land side of the new levee, fertilizing, seeding and mulching levee embankment and all other work incidental thereto..
