Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a fire / police facility in San Antonio, Texas. Completed plans call for the addition of a fire / police facility; for the demolition of a fire / police facility; for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

Overall project magnitude is between $700k and $800k which includes an Owners Contingency Allowance. Owner anticipates the scope of work to consist of the following responsibilities: The selected Respondent will be the general contractor for the Project, which is the construction of Bexar County Emergency Service District 6 Fire Station 161 Additions and Renovations Project. The Project will be designed and constructed so as to meet all applicable federal, state, and local accessibility standards. The selected Offeror will be also responsible for the following: obtaining all applicable permits and inspections; providing all necessary performance and payment bonds and insurance certificates; and providing the District with all manufacturers warranties and all operations and maintenance (O & M) manuals for all equipment installed. The selected Offeror may be required to perform some or all of the following pre-construction and construction services. Preconstruction Services may include, but not necessarily be limited to, planning and value engineering the Work. Construction Services may include, but not necessarily be limited to, all work associated with construction, occupancy and warranty of the facilities. The following represents a summary of the proposed improvements: 2,027 SF Pre-Engineered Metal Building Fire Station Structure is currently in place with completed envelope (minus 3 exterior doors). Building is to be finished out with dorms for 4 fire department personnel with Kitchen/Dayroom, Restrooms/showers, and Miscellaneous Equipment Storage Areas. c. Project is a finish out project with all concrete and structure in place. Existing conditions: i. Existing above grade plumbing to be removed and replaced. ii. Existing sheetrock in building to be removed and disposed (New to be provided) iii. Existing ductwork to be removed and disposed (New to be provided) iv. Mechanical units are still in boxes and may be used by the contractor v. All doors to be installed (it is understood these doors exist at Arch Div. 8 warehouse) vi. Electrical to be finished out (existing electrical sub was Eagle Enterprises) vii. Fire riser to be relocated to be in fire riser room viii. No millwork onsite ix. Metal ladder and railings for mezzanine onsite and may be used by the contractor x.
