The Corporation of the Town of LaSalle is seeking submissions for the furnishing of all labour, supervision, plant and materials to carry out the work for the repair and improvement of approximately 4,900m of existing open drain, the replacement of two drain crossings and cleanout of three existing road crossings. The 4th Concession Drain has a total length of 6,092 metres in the Town of LaSalle and the Town of Tecumseh. Documents can be obtained at: https://lasalle.bidsandtenders.ca The work to be carried out under this Contract shall include the furnishing of all labour, supervision, plant and materials necessary to carry out the following: Plans, Specifications, Tender Forms and all necessary information are available online for the entire tendering period. No hard copies shall be available for pick up. a) The removal and disposal of brush and trees from the 4th Concession Drain except from Stations 0+000 to 1+180, where the drain is in good condition. b) The excavation and grading of the drain banks and profile of the 4th Concession Drain as shown on the attached drawrngs.. c) The excavation along drain bottom within existing culvert to grades shown on profile and nross-sections. d) The replacement of Culvert No. 5 at Station 2+866. e) Supply and place seeding and mulching of all disturbed areas (drain banks, lawns). f) Supply and place quarried rock erosion protection stone for culvert end treatment. g) Construction of a sediment trap including rock flow check dam at Station 1+200. h) Silt control. - i) Traffic control. j) All as shown on the Contract Drawings and described hereinafter or as may otherwise be directed by the Engineer
