Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Norwich, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following - Remove and properly dispose of all pavers and metal bracing used to hold the pavers in place that can be found at the entrance to the program building as indicated on the attached drawing (roughly 44'x 46'). - Install and properly compact 5" of gravel subbase. Bidders may reuse the gravel subbase under the pavers but must ensure that it is 5" compacted at all points that will be supporting the concrete pad. - Concrete pad shall be composed of 5" of 4000 PSI Concrete. Pad shall be reinforced with welded wire mesh (6" x 6", #10 x #10). Wire mesh shall be supported during concrete pour so as to be located midway in the pad. Air shall be entrained in the concrete to no less then %4 of the volume of the total pour. - Concrete pad shall be sloped away from the program building to equal height of existing concrete sidewalks and curb. - Concrete pad shall have a broom finish or other facility approved non-slip finish. - Control joints shall be cut not less than every 10' on both the vertical and horizontal dimensions of pad. Control joints shall be cut to a depth 1 1/4 " with a wet saw. - Pad shall be sealed with a penetrating sealer as soon as allowed by manufacture. - Pad shall be fenced off with construction fencing when it is left to cure. Fencing cannot be supported with metal stakes (they must be plastic, or some other material approved by the Valley Ridge Safety department). Bidder responsible to for removing all fencing when pad is cured. - Concrete pad must be poured in weather conditions (or with the appropriate additives) to enable it to be cured enough for foot traffic in no more than 24 hours - Replace the metal collar at the base of the Flagpole. - For security reasons, work site must be clean at the end of every workday. All work must be left in a secure state where individuals cannot hurt themselves on any unfinished work. - All construction related debris are the contractor's responsibility to remove and dispose of. - All work must conform to all applicable codes and industry best practices.
