Description: Notice is hereby given that Kingman County, Kansas is soliciting bids for construction of KINGMAN COUNTY SW 70th St. Pavement Repair. The project consists of pavement repair in Kingman County, KS along SW 70th St. starting at SW 30th Ave. and proceeding west approximately 5.0 miles to SW 80th Ave. The Base Bid portion along SW 70th St. is from SW 30th Ave. to SW 50th Ave. and from SW 60th Ave. to SW 80th Ave. (4 miles), and the Add Alternate portion along SW 70th St. is from SW 50th Ave. to SW 60th Ave. (1 mile). Total length is approximately 5.0 miles and will include a 2 hot mix asphalt (HMA) overlay, crack sealing, shouldering, pavement markings to match existing, traffic control, tie-ins, and milling as necessary. A BIDDER requiring clarification or interpretation of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS shall make a written request to the ENGINEER, Tanner Yost, tyost@kirkham.com. The OWNER or ENGINEER must receive the written request a minimum of two (2) calendar days prior to the date of the bid opening
