Site work and paving for a civil project in State College, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
As of August 10, 2023, project was awarded to Ameron Construction Company, Inc. in the amount of $1,720,847.80. This project consists of complete roadway reconstruction on Ellen Avenue from South Pugh Street to William Street and on Woodland Drive from North Atherton Street to Hillcrest Avenue, including roadway pavement structure replacement, curb and curb/gutter, driveway aprons, ADA Curb Ramps, sidewalk restoration, sanitary sewer main and lateral replacement, storm sewer improvements and all required appurtenances as shown and indicated on the Contract Drawings. Each bid is to be accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit and a certified check or bid bond in the amount often percent (10%) of the amount bid and made payable to the Borough of State College. All bids will be presented to State College Borough Council at a public meeting. Borough Council may then accept or reject any or all bids or hold all bids for a period of 45 days from the date of Bid Opening before making a decision. Bids shall remain irrevocable for 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof unless award is delayed due to the required approval of another government agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants; in which case, bids shall be irrevocable for one hundred twenty days in compliance with Act 317 of 1978 approved Nov. 26, 1978 Final Completion - 120 days from Notice to Proceed
