The work will include standard and emergency/urgent maintenance/repairs to bring equipment to code. The LHA reserves the right to quote/bid any repair or installation that exceeds an estimate of $10,000, pursuant to U.S. HUD regulations. Any quotes requiring time and materials (T&M) must be a "not-toexceed" quotation. 1. Delivery of all devices and equipment is at no additional cost to the LHA. All deliveries will be F.O.B. Destination Prepaid - inside delivery. No shipping, freight, delivery, truck, handling, fuel charges or any other like charges to be paid by the LHA under the contract. Any and all such costs must be netted in the bid price so that all bids may be compared equally. 2. Inspections, repairs (if needed), and deliveries will be completed in a timely manner. Multiple deliveries are allowable so long as they are completed as required by any contract. Order receipt, bills of lading or packing slips shall include destination location and detailed list of items including model #'s and quantities. 3. Any and all devices and equipment replaced under a contemplated Agreement shall be new, unused, and of recent manufacturer and may be tested and inspected at any time by the LHA. All work or service performed under this contract by the Vendor shall be completed in a professional and timely manner and according to manufacturer's specifications, compliant with warranty requirements and NFPA current standards. 4. All Vendor personnel shall have a company photo identification card or badge displayed on their person if entering any LHA property. 5. Vendor shall carry all required contractors to complete inspections and repairs. The work is estimated to cost $40,000.00 for the initial one-year contract period. Services are anticipated to begin on or about August 22, 2023 Question Deadline 07/11/2023 at 3:00 PM ET LHA reserves its sole option to renew the contract for two additional one-year contract periods not to exceed a total of three years. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 26 to 27H inclusive, Davis Bacon Wage Determination for Building Construction (MA1), Residential Construction (MA4), 40 U.S.C. 276, 29 C.F.R. 1. The LHA reserves the right to cancel the IFB, reject any or all bids and waive informalities.
