Renovation of a residential development in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Cornice Replacement at McFarlin Manor. General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates), and made payable to the Chelmsford Housing Authority. Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Contract Documents shall make a written request to the Prime Designer. The Prime Designer will answer such requests if received seven (7) calendar days before the date for receipt of the bids Question Deadline 07/19/2023 The Work under the Contract consists of: 1. The Project consists of: Removal of existing metal cornice system. Existing wood cornice support to be remain. Installation of new metal cornice to match the profile of the existing, with a new EPDM roof. New flashing and caulking. Some wood repair and brick repointing will be required. 2. All Work either shown on the Drawings or included in the Specifications unless specifically indicated as not to be done. B. In addition, the Work under the Contract includes: 1. Work outside the Project Site as called for in the Contract Documents and as required for the performance of the Work. 2. The restoration of any items damaged or destroyed by encroaching upon areas outside the Project Site. 3. Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary facilities.
