Per correspondence from ShinMaywa (America), Ltd., dated June 1, 2023, Power & Pumps, Inc. is the Exclusive Distributor for ShinMaywa products for the municipal market for counties in Florida that includes Sarasota County. All orders for new and replacement pumps and parts should be placed directly through Power & Pumps, Inc. Power & Pumps, Inc. is also the ShinMaywa (America), Ltd. Authorized Service Center (ASC) for Sarasota County; as the ASC, Power & Pumps, Inc. provides warranty service and standard repairs. Any vendor who believes they can provide the goods and/or services described in the attached sole source documentation should respond to this ISS by the date specified. To be considered, vendors must complete the attached Intent to Sole Source Response form (under "documents") and respond to this solicitation by clicking "place offer". If applicable, upload documentation to support your position. Sarasota County intends to renew a sole source procurement to Power & Pumps, Inc. for the provision of ShinMaywa CNWX, CNX, and CNXH pumps, parts and service for a period of one year. In the event respondents demonstrate the ability to supply the same or substantially similar products and/or services, the County may, in its sole discretion, elect to cancel this sole source and advertise a competitive solicitation.
