The work shall include all labor, materials, transportation, and equipment required for the construction of: Site H1: Between Sections 8 & 9-R15W-T33N End Anchorage Assembly and W-Beam Guardrail Site H2: Between Sections 8 & 9-R15W-T33N Remove and Replace Guardrail and Remove and Reset Guardrail. Each bidder will be required to submit with his proposal a Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable, without condition, to the County Treasurer of Holt County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five (5) percent of their proposal. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded shall furnish within ten (10) days after the award a surety bond or bonds in a sum equal to the full amount of the contract. The form of the bonds and surety shall be acceptable to the Holt County Board of Supervisors. The bidder will include an estimated time of beginning and completion for the project with the proposal. The Contractor will be allowed 30 calendar days for the completion of all work on all sites. The required completion date of the project is December 29, 2023. The Holt Board of County Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to pass upon the regularity, and to waive any irregularities. Awarding of the Contract will be in accordance with the provisions of "Competitive Bidding; Consideration", COUNTY PURCHASING ACT, N.R.S. Sections 23-3101 through 23-3114, any competitive bidding requirements of Nebraska Statutes 16-321, et. seq.
