Site work and new construction of a conference / convention center in Tanner, Alabama. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a conference / convention center; and for site work for a conference / convention center.
The scope of work includes full architectural and engineering services for a new building of approximately 35,000 square feet including a Large Conference Room for up to 30 people, Office Space for 5 people, Training/Conference Rooms, a large Production Area, Entry, Lobby, Restrooms, and Circulation Corridors. The project includes emphasis on delivering fully integrated facilities in a functional and economical manner. Documented success in construction cost management, thorough and timely services, and accurate document production will be considered in the evaluation of qualifications. The estimated construction budget for this project is $25,000,000.00. The term of the agreement will be for two years with an option to renew for an additional two years. The design services will be contracted under both fees and hourly rates in accordance with the Manual of Procedures of the State of Alabama Department of Finance, Real Property Management, Division of Construction Management (DCM) For questions and additional information, contact Dan Woods via email at dan.woods@realproperty.alabama.gov The Awarding Authority/Owner reserves the right to reject any or all qualifications and to solicit additional qualifications, through the RFQ process, if that is determined to be in the best interests of the State of Alabama.
