Period of performance (POP) for construction shall be 30 days. Work must include, but not limited to the following: The contractor must set up a suitable containment structure surrounding each of the three (3) separate areas prior to start of work. The contractor must demo and remove each assembly separately. An assessment will be made of all new deliverables, and all existing hardware currently installed for compatibility and re-use or re-installation on replacement assemblies prior to beginning any work (as specified by VA staff). Each assembly will be installed in a way such as to retain its original size and footprint. All work is to be conducted after normal business hours, and at night in accordance with, and at the direction of Emergency Department Staff and the COR or Designee.
