Proposals shall be submitted in sealed envelopes, endorsed on the outside "IFB 2023-1 PROPOSAL FOR ON- CALL PLUMBING SERVICES" with the bidder's name, at the main office of the Arlington Housing Authority On-Call Services for Public Housing Developments as follows: 713 units of subsidized housing including Drake Village Cottages (667-1), Chestnut Manor (667-2), Winslow Towers (667-3), Hauser Building (667-4), Cusack Terrace (667-5), Mystic Gardens (667-6), Menotomy Manor (200-1 & 200-2), The Donnelly House (689- 1), and (705-1)for the Arlington Housing Authority. Contract shall be initially awarded for a term of one-year (1) in duration, with an option to extend for an additional one (1) year term at the sole discretion of the Arlington Housing Authority. Total contract duration shall not exceed two (2) consecutive years. Questions related to this IFB should be submitted in writing prior to the deadline set of August 24, 2023, no later than 2:00pm. A prerequisite for the bid is that a company must have a reputable documented record in the commercial plumbing industry sector for a minimum of 5 years. Bids should reflect the total combined hourly rate as outlined on the Form for General Bid. The successful bidder shall enter into written contract with the Arlington Housing Authority within ten (10) days after notification of acceptance of the bid. The Arlington Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids, wholly or in part, to waive informalities or irregularities in bidding, and to make awards in a manner deemed in the best interest of the Authority and the public.
