Colerain Township is soliciting bids for the construction of a playground project in Skyline Park located at 8500 Pippin Road in Colerain Township. For furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the installation of a new 1,920 square foot playground, not to exceed $73,600.00, Colerain Township is proposing to install (as a community build) a new playground in a 1,920 square foot area of Skyline Park for ages 5 years through 12 years of all abilities. The playground specifications shall include, but not limited to; installation, site preparation, safety surface, safety surface border, ADA accessible ramp, shade structures, slides, climbers, swings, boulders, spinners, sensory panels, and overhead features. The structures shall be manufactured with materials other than lumber and made to withstand commercial usage. Colerain Township is utilizing Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds in the amount of $73,600.00 to assist with the cost of this project. Qualifications in addition to those set forth herein may be necessary as per the specifications required by the Hamilton County Community Development in coordination with the use of those aforementioned Community Development Block Grants. Bidders must furnish a Bid Bond of 10% of the bid with the proposal (attached). The bidder to whom the Contract is awarded will be required to furnish a Corporate Surety Company Performance Bond in a sum equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price, conditioned according to law.
