The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, skilled technical support, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, fuel, travel, supplies and incidentals necessary to perform biannual inspections and preventative maintenance of liquid asphalt storage tanks and to perform "on-call" repairs to keep them in good working order. All storage tanks are of similar make and model. The tanks are designed to hold CRS II oil in the Spring and CMS II oil in the Fall. The asphalt storage tanks are located in Bedford, Carroll, Floyd, Franklin, Henry, Patrick and Pulaski Counties. (Reference Attachment E - Asphalt Storage Tank Locations). VDOT may, during the contract period, add, or remove tanks, at its discretion. Contractor shall possess a Virginia Contractors License For estimates greater than $5,000.00, VDOT reserves the right to competitively bid outside of this contract.
