This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Fancy Gap, Virginia. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.
The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, skilled technical support, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, fuel, travel, supplies and incidentals necessary to perform biannual inspections and preventative maintenance of liquid asphalt storage tanks and to perform "on-call" repairs to keep them in good working order. All storage tanks are of similar make and model. The tanks are designed to hold CRS II oil in the Spring and CMS II oil in the Fall. The asphalt storage tanks are located in Bedford, Carroll, Floyd, Franklin, Henry, Patrick and Pulaski Counties. (Reference Attachment E - Asphalt Storage Tank Locations). VDOT may, during the contract period, add, or remove tanks, at its discretion. Contractor shall possess a Virginia Contractors License For estimates greater than $5,000.00, VDOT reserves the right to competitively bid outside of this contract. VDOT reserves the right to furnish any or all materials, supplies, and/or equipment to the Contractor and adjust the Contractor's estimate accordingly Question Deadline 07/12/2023 at 4:30 PM ET Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Shonda Fowler at shonda.fowler@vdot.virginia.gov . The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised
