The City of Waco will receive sealed bids for RFB #2023-036 Waco Airport Drainage Phase 1 You may also contact Mr. Kasey Gamblin, preferably by email at kaseyg@wacotx.gov, or 254-750-8405 during business hours 8-12 and 1-5 Monday through Friday to obtain this Request for Bid package or for more information. The City expressly reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to cancel or modify any request for bids. Deadline for questions is 5:00 P.M July 13, 2023 The City of Waco and the Waco Regional Airport are proposing to improve the drainage in problem areas identified as Priority A in a Drainage Study completed in 2019 as Appendix B of the Airport Master Plan. Poor drainage flow, ponding of water, buildup of silt, and erosion of terrain, are factors identified in the study, and if not addressed in a comprehensive fashion, may impact the preservation of existing airport assets and operational requirements. The project includes the regrading of approximately 6,900 linear feet of channel re-grading, 4,000 linear feet of concrete pilot channel, 30 linear feet of dual 60" culvert, 35 linear feet of 24" culvert, headwalls, safety end treatments, 1,900 linear feet of perimeter fence relocation, and pavement replacement over the culverts
