Question Deadline 07/14/2023 Direct all inquiries regarding this RFP in writing to Noelle Mattock The City of Roseville desires to retain a provider of professional services for state advocacy. The Consultant will report to the City's Environmental Utilities Department and is responsible for providing state advocacy services on behalf of the City's Environmental Utilities Department. Consultants must have knowledge of the broad array of state issues that affect municipal water, wastewater, recycled water and solid waste utilities, as well as stormwater programs. The successful proposer will provide comprehensive, bipartisan advocacy to assist with the development and implementation of a state legislative and regulatory strategy for the City's Environmental Utilities Department. Services required by the City's Environmental Utilities Department include legislative and administrative representation with Members of the California State Legislature, Assembly and Senate staff and committee consultants, the Governor of the State of California, the Governor's Cabinet and specified State Agencies and Boards, under the direction of EU's designees for the purposes of communicating EU's position on specific issues and receiving useful information from outside parties on those issues. Some examples include the California Air Resources Board, CalRecycle, State Water Resources Control Board, Department of Water Resources, California Water Commission, Governor's Office, and the State Legislature and Committee and Caucus staff.
