The City award this contract to Anderson Excavating, LLC for a unit price bid amount of $68,593.00. Demolition and replacement of existing curb around seven (7) street trees on High Street in Morgantown, WV and the installation of tube hand railing on top of the new curb . The City of Morgantown reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Morgantown, and to reject any or all proposals. Discriminate against or intimidate any employee involved in the manufacture of supplies, the performance of work, or any other activity required under the contract on account of gender, race, creed or color. Construction time limit is 30 calendar days for substantial completion and 60 calendar days immediately thereafter for final acceptance. Liquidated damages for each completion time is $500 per day.
