Demolition, site work and remodeling of a municipal facility in Duchesne, Utah. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the remodel of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

This project includes the remodel of the interior and site of the Duchesne County South Building as shown on the DRAWINGS. This will include the demolition and removal of asbestos containing materials as outlined in the asbestos report dated February 19, 2022. This will also include the installation of a fire sprinkling system throughout the entire building excluding the crawl space (See Mechanical). Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond payable to the owner for five percent of the total amount of the bid. A performance bond and a payment bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price, with a Corporate surety approved by the owner, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. The owner may waive any informalities or minor defects or reject any and all bids. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to The scheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date Specified shall not be considered. No bidder may withdraw a bid within 60 days after the date of the bid opening. Should There be reasons why the contract cannot be awarded within the specified period, the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the owner and the bidder. Bidder hereby agrees to commence work under this contract on or before a date specified in the notice to Proceed and to fully complete the contract within 10 consecutive calendar days thereafter. Bidder further Agrees to pay liquidated damages, the sum of $1,500, for each consecutive calendar day thereafter as provided in Section 15 of the general conditions. This bid will remain open for sixty (60) days after the date of bid Opening. If awarded the contract, the bidder will sign the agreement and submit the security and the other Documents required by the contract within seven (7) days after the date of the owner's "notice of award".
