Site work for a water / sewer project in Crown Point, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The proposed construction will improve the drainage along Van Buren Street and include replacement of the outfall pipe and control structure that conveys water from a Holiday Creek residential pond across Van Buren Street to the existing outfall on the east side (approximately 300 ft). The project also includes installation of new storm sewer and inlets along Van Buren Street and approximately 1,135 ft of full-road reconstruction including replacement of curb and gutter. All proposals must be submitted on Prescribed State Board of Accounts Form No. 96 together with all the proper forms included in the specifications, proposal and contract, the entire set of which shall be filed intact as bid. Wage rates for this work shall not be less than the prescribed scale of wages as determined pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 319, Acts of the Indiana General Assembly, 1935. No Contractor may withdraw his proposal within one hundred twenty days (120) after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive technical or irregularities therein, to delete any item or items and to award a contract on the proposal that in their judgment is most advantages to Lake County
