Reference Number 0000324184 The work to be done includes but is not limited to furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant Work to perform and satisfactorily complete improvements on streets on an as needed basis at various locations throughout the City. The Work to be done hereunder consists of constructing improvements on city-owned streets and parking lots. The Work generally includes resurfacing of asphalt concrete pavement; reconstruction of asphalt and Portland cement concrete pavement, curb & gutters, cross gutters, ADA ramps, curbs, gutters, and sidewalks; installation of microsurfacing, slurry seal, crushed miscellaneous base; excavation; grading; and concrete and bituminous surface removal. The Work may also include furnishing and placing earth fill; adjusting or reconstructing manhole frames; reconstructing curb drains; reconstructing storm drain connector pipes; traffic striping and marking; traffic signal conduit; street light conduit; and landscaping and irrigation. The Contractor shall be able to furnish and perform dewatering of trenches as necessary, as a part of the City is located in a high ground water table, and excavation in those areas will encounter water that must be dewatered.
