Engineer’s Estimate: $1,011,752.50 This special provision includes all labor and materials to remove, protect, and reset the existing internally illuminated large business sign at approximate roadway Sta 2+85, in accordance with NCDOT Standard Specifications, the City of Concord Technical Standards Manual, the construction plans and the contract. The Contractor shall use a qualified sign subcontractor and shall return the sign and electric connection to its pre-existing condition. The Le Phillip Ct. Storm Pipe Replacement project consists of the removal of an existing 48" corrugated metal pipe and the installation of 79.50 linear feet of 10' x 4' precast concrete box storm pipe for the purpose of providing public storm drainage protection, including water and sanitary sewer adjustments, coordination with utility agencies on other utility adjustments by others, roadway pavement reconstruction, and other appurtenances along Le Phillip Ct. in Concord NC. A Bid Bond must accompany each bid. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Construction Performance Bond and a Construction Payment Bond as security for the faithful performance and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the Contract. Contractor and all Subcontractors will be required to conform to the labor standards set forth in the Contract Documents. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids, and will award to lowest responsible Bidder taking into consideration quality, performance, and time specified in Bid Form for performance of Work.
