A timeline for the award has not yet been established Bidders site inspection is encouraged to view the existing repair prior to bidding.All work must be completed within 45 (forty-five) working days after the date of authorization specified in the Notice to Proceed and to diligently prosecute said work,including corrective items of work, day to day thereafter, except as adjusted by subsequent Contract Change Orders. Contractor shall schedule a required preconstruction meeting including County of Riverside Housing and Workforce Solutions, who manages the Community Development Block Grant Funding on behalf of the Federal Government. County will outline labor, payment and all Federal requirements for the project. All subcontractors and suppliers required to be listed in the bid must be present. The successful Bidder shall perform, with its own organization, Contract work amounting to at least fifty percent of (50%) of the Contract bid items. However, any designated "Specialty Items" may be performed by subcontract and the amount of any such "Specialty Items" may be deducted from the Contract items before computing the amount of work required to be performed by the Contractor. The CITY reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularity, and to take all bids under advisement for a period of 90 days. A PROJECT SIGN will be installed on the project site. Sample Sign is included in Federal Specifications, Appendix B. City shall supply and install the sign. The contractor shall maintain sign during the length of the contract.
