Project Description: The project consists of the interior renovation of two group restrooms on the mezzanine level of the Forum Theater. Bidders will be required to provide Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond from a reliable surety company of a sum no less than five (5) percent of the Bid Amount or by a cashier's or certified check upon a national or state bank in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the total maximum bid price payable without recourse to the City of Jonesboro as a guarantee that bidder will enter into a contract and execute Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after Notice of Award of Contract. The Notice of Award of Contract shall be given by the Owner within thirty (30) days following the opening of bids. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance and Payment Bond upon the form provided in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the contract price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Arkansas to act as surety, or other surety or sureties acceptable to the Owner.
