Renovation of a water / sewer project in Waterloo, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The scope of the Waterloo WWTP Aeration and UV Bypass Upgrades project is to provide secondary treatment process improvements and a new gate to re-direct bypass flows away from the UV system. The main tasks including addition of two modulating weir gates in the primary effluent channel, modification of the existing RAS and centrate pipe outlets, replacement of four (4) anoxic zone mixers and installation of an isolation gate in the UV bypass chamber.
