This project consists of replacing the existing pool pump and select valves at Central High School's swimming pool (Old Pool), located in Springfield, Missouri. Question Cutoff Date: 7/12/2023 05:00 PM (ET) Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, executed by the Bidder and a duly authorized surety company, certified check, or cashiers check made unconditionally payable to the Springfield Public Schools R-12 for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the maximum bid or bids submitted. The bid security pledges that the Bidder will enter into a Contract with the Owner on the terms stated in the Bid and will, if required, furnish bonds covering the faithful performance of the Contract and payment of all obligations arising thereunder. Bid bond must be submitted to Owner Time is of the essence and it is the intent of the Owner to begin work no later than April 01, 2024 and have the work substantially completed no later than April 30, 2024. Bid Bond shall be written by a surety firm acceptable to the Owner, and shall guarantee that: if the Bidder is awarded Contract with Owner within thirty (30) days from the date bids were received, he will enter into a contract with the Owner within ten (10) days after receipt of notice of award, and that a Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100% of the amount of the Contract will be provided as required by Article 7.
