The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals, through a competitive process, for procurement of underwater tank inspection and cleaning services for the Municipal Water Department's Reservoir Tanks. The City is seeking an agreement term of three years, with one, three-year renewal option. The following are required: o Certified Commercial Diver Licenses required. ADCI Cards must be with Diver at all times. o Payment of prevailing wage rate is required under California Department of Interior/ Carpenters/ Diver under 50'. o All wages MUST be reported electronically through the Department of the Interior before final checks are approved for distribution. o Diver must be a NACE 1 Coating inspector To be considered responsive to the RFP requirements, contractors must submit a proposal indicating their knowledge and experience related to the services being sought. The City of Compton reserves the right to reject any or all proposals submitted. The CMWD requests that the vendor complete small repairs when immediate need is required; therefore, the consultant must have Errors and Omissions insurance in the amount of $2,000,000.
