Site work for a road / highway in Milton, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Conservation Halton is interested in contracting for the following works; Trail refurbishing and improvement work along the 'Vista Adventure' and 'Buffalo Crag' trails at Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area. As part of the overall project, proponents will be required to perform trail improvement works along the Buffalo Crag and Vista Adventure Trails. Trail improvement works for both trails shall include installation, grading and crowning of mineral fill material along the existing trail-bed for both trails, as well as the placement of rock armouring stones to create a more sustainable and safer natural stair set in two major washout sections of Vista Adventure trail. There are to be no modifications to the current trail bed, location, alignment, width, or other parameters. Proponents will also be required to install a mounded, raised viewing platform of mineral materials at the Buffalo Crag lookout to assist in providing an improved and more accessible visitor experience for all visitors.
