This project is a state and federally funded project utilizing State of Good Repair funds. The project includes milling and asphalt overlay on Southbound Park Avenue from Brambleton Avenue to E. Princess Anne Road, Westbound E. Princess Anne Road from Park Avenue to Standard Street, Westbound E. Princess Anne Road from Cowand Avenue to Miltate Avenue, and Northbound Park Avenue from Brambleton Avenue to E. Virginia Beach Boulevard. Only VDOT prequalified contractors may bid on this project. With a DBE goal of 5%.UPC 121125, U000-122-506, STP-5B03(330), UPC 121129, U000-122-508, STP-5B03(332), UPC 122021-U000-122-504, STP-5B03(204). All Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted no later than July 11, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. through the Questions portal. Work to be Substantially Completed in: 90 calendar days Liquidated Damages: Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00) per day Performance Bond: one hundred percent (100%) Payment Bond: one hundred percent (100%) A Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check made payable to the Treasurer, City of Norfolk, for 5% of total bid must accompany each bid.
