Landfill Gas to Energy (LFGTE) Project for commercial and beneficial use of landfill gas (LFG) generated at the City's Kersey Valley Landfill and to make payments to the City on a monthly basis in exchange for receiving LFG. The City will consider proposals which outline technically and financially feasible beneficial uses of the LFG, including production of renewable natural gas (RNG), direct-use by industrial user(s), and/or other suitable technologies Questions pertaining to this RFP are due in writing via e-mail by Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at 2:00 PM to candy.harmon@highpointnc.gov. The City reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole or in part, such proposals as appears in its judgment to be in the best interest of the City. The successful proposer shall be required to comply with all applicable equal employment opportunity laws and regulations, and all other applicable governmental laws and regulations as set forth by the Citym of High Point and the State of North Carolina.
