Amherst County reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals received. Amherst County has a drug free workplace and reserves the right to test contractor's employees under the following conditions: 1. When there is a reasonable cause to believe an employee is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. 2. As mandated by government contract provisions for a drug free workplace. The Consultant must disclose the amount of deductible/self-insured retention applicable to the General Liability, Automobile Liability, and Professional Liability Policies, if any. The County reserves the right to request additional information to determine if the Consultant has the financial capacity to meet its obligations under a deductible/self-insured plan. If this provision is utilized, the Consultant will be permitted to provide evidence of its ability to fund the deductible/self-insured retention. A. Amherst County Courthouse, located 113 Taylor St., Amherst, VA 24521. (approximately 39,000 square feet). (Cleaning daily.) B. County Administration Building, the upper level located at 153 Washington St., the lower level located at 224 Second St., Amherst VA 24521. Building is segmented into different departmental areas (cleaning daily C. Amherst County Public Safety Building, located 119 Taylor St., Amherst, VA 24521 (excludes Dispatch area), approximately 6500 square feet. (Cleaning daily.) D. Goodwin Street Building, located 100 Goodwin St., Amherst, VA, 24521 approximately 5600 square feet. (Cleaning daily.) E. Monroe Recreation Building, located 129 Francis Ave, Monroe, VA, 24574 approximately 9,500 square feet. (Cleaning 2 x weekly.) F. Amherst Train Depot Building, Suite A & B, 328 Richmond Highway, Amherst, VA, 24521 approximately 1,800 square feet. (Cleaning 2 x weekly.) G. Parsonage House, 190 Second St., Amherst, VA 24521; approximately 1,000 sq. ft. (Cleaning 1 x weekly.) H. Maintenance Building, 165 First St., Amherst, VA 24521; approximately 300 sq. ft. (Cleaning 1 x weekly.)
