Contractor shall conduct road maintenance services on the Lusby Road (Lusby Public Access Area), located approximately 20 miles southwest of Casper, off Wyoming Highway 220, near MP 92. Contractor shall supply all materials, tools, equipment, and labor necessary to complete the project. a) Provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, and incidentals to maintain approximately 3 miles of gravel road and associated parking areas from Wyoming Highway 220 to the end of the road. b) Use a water truck to wet the road until there is a 5 - 10% moisture content in the road base. Contractor is responsible for obtaining necessary permits for water usage. c) Blade the travel surface to to a MINIMUM 4" depth to eliminate all potholes and washboards. d) Pull shoulders and barrow ditches and maintain exisiting road width (varies -- approximately 16' to 30'). e) Shape the road to approximately a 4% crown for drainage. f) Re-wet the road and compact the road using a vibratory roller compactor. g) The contractor shall blade the parking areas, but need not roller pack them. h) Contractor shall blade the road twice per calendar year. Contractor shall blade all roads in May of each year. The second blading should be prior to Labor Day weekend. i) Contractor is responsible for all Call-to-Dig requests.
