This RFP is an invitation by the University of Guelph to prospective Respondents to submit non-binding proposals for the provision of Organic Waste Collection and Removal Services. Questions Due Date: Jul 19th 2023, 2:00 PM EDT The University is seeking to engage the services of a qualified, experienced and licensed operator to provide equipment, containers, collection, pick up, transportation and disposal of compost materials for the main campus located at 50 Stone Rd E in Guelph, Ontario. The successful Respondent will provide support to the Universitys waste initiatives including identifying and implementing opportunities for reduction, and support of the strategic goal of building a sustainable tomorrow. The purpose of the meeting is to review and investigate the work sites, review requirements, discuss submission timelines and the evaluation process, and to allow Respondents to ask any pertinent questions. Respondents who do not attend this mandatory site visit will be barred from submitting a proposal. Respondents must sign in the Attendance Sheet at the Site Visit upon arrival. The signature on the Attendance Sheet is considered as the proof of site visit attendance. To sign up for the site visit, Respondents are to send a message via the Message / Supplier Discussions tab in the University portal by 24 hours prior to the meeting date and time if you intend to attend to facilitate preparation. Please provide the following information; company name, contact name, email address, and telephone number. Respondents are required to review all RFP documents prior to attending the Site Visit. The University will not reimburse respondents for any cost incurred for attending the Site Visit. It is the Universitys intention to enter into the agreement with one (1) legal entity. The term of the agreement is to be for a period of two (2) years, with an option in favour of the University to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for an additional term of up to three (3) additional one (1) year terms.
