The Work includes Renovations and Repairs to the Franklin County Old Carrabelle Annex Building located in Carrabelle, Florida. The Work includes roof demolition, insulation, vapor retarders, fiber cement trim, metal roofing, sheet metal flashing and trim, joint sealants, etc The time limit for substantial completion of this work will be 90 calendar days from the Date of Commencement. A Bid Bond in an amount not less than 5% of the Base Bid must accompany bids and a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount will be required of the successful bidder The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, to accept and/or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in their judgment will be in the best interest of Franklin County. All bids shall remain firm for a period of sixty days after the opening All bidders shall comply with all applicable State and local laws concerning licensing registration and regulation of contractors doing business to the State of Florida.
