A. Description and Intent: Work as indicated on the Drawings and specified herein consists of furnishing all labor and materials for the complete construction of all work required for the CCMUA Compost Sludge Storage Building Slab Repair. B. Work Includes: Contract shall incorporate all of the labor and materials required for a totally complete project as indicated on the Drawings and as enumerated in the Project Manual, including but limited to 1. Selective demolition work 2. Concrete damage identification 3. Reinforcing steel layout and prep C. Type of Contract: Project will be constructed under a single prime contract The scope of work for the Roof Replacement includes the removal of existing roofing system down to the roof deck and installation of new built-up roofing system. Demolition work shall include removal and reinstallation of the existing equipment The Successful Bidder and Subcontractors shall hold or obtain any such licenses as required by State Statutes, and Federal and local Laws and Regulations required to lawfully complete the work described in these contract documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject all of the Bids received, to re-advertise for Bids, to abandon the project, to waive any or all minor informalities in any Bid received and to accept the lowest responsible responsive bid all in accordance with applicable law. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of ten (10) percent of Bidderâs Bid price, but not in excess of $20,000, and in the form of a certified check or bank money order or a Bid Bond
