The Contractor is required to furnish the labor, equipment, and personnel necessary to manage, operate, and maintain the water distribution system. Dutiesinclude leak repairs, new meter installation, emergency calls, and associated responsibilities. The terms of any resulting contract are negotiable but are likely to include reimbursement in the form of a negotiated fee schedule for labor and equipment necessary to repair leaks, install new watermeters, and perform incidental work not covered by the base rate.The Commissioners of the North Utility District of Rhea County, TNwill review all proposals, interview each qualified candidate, negotiate the terms of any agreement, and execute said agreement, their decisions being final.
