The work consists mainly of asbestos removal, beam locking and pipe insulation, subsequent fireproofing and insulation, replacement of asbestos-containing interior floor coverings with vinyl tiles, suspended ceilings and gypsum ceilings, and finishing and painting work. As part of the realization of this project, the Successful Bidder will be responsible for moving certain furniture and putting it back in place following the work. He will also be responsible for the temporary protection of all services, equipment, furniture and other elements in the premises affected by the work and for cleaning up after the work. The premises, mainly laboratories and offices, will be vacant for the duration of the work as indicated in the following table. The work must be completed imperatively during this period.
