Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Quaqtaq, Quebec. Design plans call for the construction of a 165,000-square-foot, two-story above grade, 250-seat educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Construction of a new elementary and high school in the Quaqtaq village in Nunavik. The new school will have wings dedicated to school programs will a capacity of 250 students, will feature learning areas for general education, specialized spaces (sciences, arts, library, sports facilities, carrefour food service), premises for language and culture courses, as well as premises for teaching and administrative support. TIMELINE: Preliminary planning is in a very advanced stage. Project is included into the list of major projects of the Quebec Treasury Board Secretariat under the number 699. Working drawings are expected to begin in spring 2026. Timelines of further project development are being finalized.
