Contractor shall provide Bid, Payment, and Performance Bonds for the project, and that cost is to be included as a part of Mobilization. The bid shall be delivered to the Procurement Services Department at 2631 S.E. 3rd Street, Ocala, Florida 34471. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond, acceptable to the Board of County Commissioners, or a Cashier's Check to the Board of County Commissioners in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid(s). Bid guaranty of the successful bidder will be returned upon his execution of the Agreement; otherwise the bid guaranty will be in default and subject to terms and conditions set forth in the form of Bid Bond. A political subdivision of the State of Florida reserves the right to reject any and/or all submittals, reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the examination process, and reserves the right to award contracts and/or in the best interest of the County. Submittals not meeting stated minimum terms and qualifications may be rejected by the County as non-responsive. The County reserves the right to reject any or all submittals without cause. The County reserves the right to reject the submission of any Vendor in arrears or in default upon any debt or contract to the Board of County Commissioners of Marion County, or who has failed to perform faithfully any previous contract with the County or with other governmental agencies. The work includes improvement of roadways as shown in the construction plans as referenced above by Project and Bid Number and applicable parts of these contract documents. It is required to submit the Insurance Certificate to the Procurement Services Division with the bid.
